This kit was of a higgins seventy-eight foot pt-71 class pt boat. the hull number indicated that it was of higgins’ second production series of the class, but the model actual depicted a higgins boat that was put in service at mid-point to late in the war.. I'm looking for a set of plans for the 78' higgins pt boat and the lcvp. i want something more involver that the 1 sheet line drawing of the overhead and side view that i have found on sever site dealing with "plans" and drydock drawings. my intention is to build a 1/10 or 1/12 scale model of these. The boat is built near to the scale. it includes a lot of exterior detail including guns, mounts, cockpit, torpedo tubes or torpedoes, depth charges and other elements. many features are animateable, including guns, mounts controls, rudders, propellers, depth charges and torpedoes (if included)..
